From Insurance to Private Banking

AS “BBG” (previously - Baltikums Bankas Grupa) established in Latvia in 1994 is a private international financial group with its head office in Latvia and with affiliates and structural units including Baltikums Bank, Baltikums Private Bank, Baltikums Asset Management, Baltikums Trust Management, ООО “Балтикумс Траст” (Russia), and other companies according to the information available on www.baltikums.eu.

BBG operates in 6 countries, hires more than 250 professionals, and provides asset management, private capital management, banking, investment-banking, trust management, consulting, and insurance services to private, corporate, and institutional customers by acting via its own network of companies, representative offices, and branches.

Private Banking and Investment Banking have deep roots in the Bank Group’s operations and benefit from the experience of the Bank’s founders and management in various areas of finance and wealth management.

BBG is a banking holding with 100% participation of Latvian capital. Major shareholders are companies SIA “Alexander Peshkov Family Holdings” and SIA “Sergey Peshkov Holdings”; the remaining shares belong to SIA “Andrey Kochetkov Holdings” and SIA “Oleg Chepulsky Holdings”.

As of 30 September 2011, the paid stock capital of BBG equals LVL 24, 295,400, invested in Baltikums Bank and its other subsidiaries.

BBG co-ordinates development, representation of the interests and maintenance of international contacts of the Group and manages BBG Network, which incorporates (apart from the Bank or its subsidiaries) companies that provide a wide range of consulting, marketing and agent services in the EU and CIS countries.
